What I did
It was another hot one! The started off normal. On Wednesday, we headed to TXBG (Texas Biergarten) for Puppy Bingo. It was jam packed so we headed to Ramble Creek for dinner. The kids haven’t been and we liked the place!
On Thursday Layla set up a sleepover at their cousin’s house
After dropping them off, Sheena and I hosted our Lava Lab Social meet up. This time we met at Haraz Coffee in Sugar Land. Small turnout, but still very enjoyable!
Afterwards, Shane joined us for dinner at Mahesh’s Kitchen. Pricey but pretty good food!
Friday after work, Russell and I kicked it on the couch.
Afterwards, we check out Kabab Shack for dinner. It had great ratings and lived up to the hype!
After dinner we headed to Guitar Center. I needed to pick up a cable, but it was great to roam around!
Saturday morning, Layla and Sheena went to church for a self defense class.
Ezzy, Russell and I chilled at home
Later in the day we went to the newly opened Shake Shack in Sugar Land.
For dessert, we headed to the newly opened Crumbl Cookie shop!
We headed home to eat those. Lately Russell’s been sitting in Ezzy’s chair at the breakfast table. I think he’s trying to get food!

Sunday we went to church. If you don’t already know, we’re in the process of building our new building. Progress is happening!
What did I learn
This week I learned that we go out to eat a lot! Its my own doing. Its not just the food, but there’s something special about leaving the house and getting a nice meal together and trying out a new spot. No regrets (my wallet disagrees).
