I’ve started 2 businesses at the tail end of 2004. Coming out of college, I wasn’t sure if I was going to land a job immediatly and I’m not the type to sit around, so I figured I’d try my luck.
Clear Concept Media was the first venture. We (Pokie, Siju and myself) basically teamed up, bought some audio and video equipment and started on our expedition. It has grown since those early days and we’re very happy about that. So if you need to rent out speakers, projectors, screens or the like, drop us a line!
SABAsearch.com was the second venture. My friend Pratik Patel introduced the idea to me and some other close friends (Aaron Joseph, Jijesh Varghese and Neil Patel) from the old neighborhood. The concept was (and still is) great! Connecting the South Asian community via a centralized website. We’ve closed up the site after 4 years of operations, but I still believe in the concept, but it was just not the right time for all of us to jump into this venture. No regrets because you can’t put a price on learning something new!
I say that I’m a “future entrepreneur” because I hope to do more in the future and I feel that we’re always learning to become better at what we do, but I think this is a good start. We’ll see where God leads!
