I like Chevy

We’ve been a Chevy family for a long time.  Although we’re Indian and are supposed to have either a Toyota or a Honda (which we’ve had those too), for some reason, we’ve leaned towards Chevy vehicles.  When I bought my first car, it was a Chevy Trailblazer.  I still own it and I love it.  But as with any vehicle, there are the occasional issues that need to be fixed.  One major issue I had with the truck was the fuel gauge stopped working.  It’s left me stranded in the middle of the night once because of it.  Not very fun, but I guess it’s a part of life, right?  I had some other repairs that need to happen, so I brought it in to the shop and took a heavy repair hit to the wallet.

A couple of months after that, I get a recall notice about the fuel gauge issue.  GM was going to repair it for free!  Since I’ve already had it repaired, they also had the option of reimbursement.  After filling out all the paper work, providing all the necessary receipts and submitting it to the dealership, I got a check a few weeks thereafter for the full amount of the fuel gauge repair!

Its always nice to get money back!  I like Chevy.
