Our lives are larger than what you and I think it is. During the 2010 PCNAK Conference, I was able to meet a really cool guy named Stanley Sam. He’s the founder of WE AR3 CHANGE, a social company that’s goal is to create fashionable t-shirts to generate money to just to give right back to the community by way of funding non-profit organizations, and increase the awareness of their causes. In a more specific instance, the goal is to provide the bare essentials for people in need all over America, such as food, clothing and clean water.
Here’s a quick bio of Stan:
My name is Stan. I am a Temple grad and a social entrepreneur. I’ve had to overcome many obstacles in life to get to where I am today. At the age of 15 I was diagnosed with cancer. Now 100% cancer free I want to use my second chance at life to help those in need. WE AR3 CHANGE will help do that!
It’s always great to see people doing “larger than life” things! No more talk… let’s do something to be a part of this movement. Luckily, it’s very simple. Pepsi is conducting the Pepsi Refresh Project where they’re giving $1.3 million to worthy businesses. The top ten businesses will receive the awards (50K each). WE AR3 CHANGE is in the running. All you have to do is visit http://www.refresheverything.com/wear3change and vote, everyday. Simple as that! Make it happen cause every vote really does count.
The idea is awesome. I was amazed when he told me that buying one shirt will provide 21 meals.
