This weekend we celebrated my nephew’s 2nd birthday!
That was on Saturday. But before that, on Friday, we headed to a Food Truck festival in my brother’s neighborhood.
It was a fun reason to just be outside. Here’s a quick video I made of it:
On Saturday morning, Sheena took the kids to a dance class that was held at someone’s house. It was like a free sample of what the dance class would be. Layla liked it and Ezzy joined in too. Sheena made a quick vid of the weekend, so check it out!
At around noon, we headed to Blesson’s house for Brucey’s birthday party.
Jolly actually drew that Elmo! Pretty impressive! Here’s a few pics from the party.
They had a sandwich bar for the adults.
The kids enjoyed some pizza.
Then it was time for cake.
Then some playtime outside since the weather was so awesome.
I made another quick video of that as well. Check it out!
Saturday night, we headed to Pearland and had dinner with Shane and Janie. We started off at this Polish place, but the line was too long. But we still snapped a few pics!
On Sunday, we did our standard (go to church, then head over the HEB). This week we ran into Jobbins and Teena!
By the way, if YOU see me around and wanna be on the blog, tell me and lets snap a pic together! I had to force Jobbins and Teena to do it cause I’m trying to show y’all that cool people read this blog!
Later that day Sheena had to do some stuff with friends, so the kids and I met up our friends Tik and Silky at the park. Tik’s parents came out too. I haven’t seen them in a long time, so it was nice to see them again!
You might have noticed Ezzy was passed out in the prior pictures.
He slept the whole time we were there. Right before we had to head out, he woke up… so at least he got to say hi the Rayna!
After the park, we headed to my parent’s house for dinner. They invited some family friends over. Our cousin Benish and his family came as well. Its nice to catch up with people, especially when it’s been a long time since you’ve seem ’em.
The weather this weekend in Houston was pretty awesome, so any moment we could be outside was great! Overall, a pretty solid weekend!
