MLK Weekend Review – 2017

I had a 3 day weekend for Martin Luther King day.

It was great.  On Friday, Pokie’s brother-in-law Charley was in town from New York, so we all hung out.  He’s good company, so it was nice to kick it with him.

For the sake of the contest, these guys wanted a pic too!

Saturday, we had some friends and family come over for some crawfish and hotdogs… It’s a weird combo, but it worked!

Here’s a video of all the fun:

The kids played while we ate some crawfish.

Priya caught on to the whole crawfish crazy and tore it up!  I’m sorta proud of her…

Neil and Rita left early (parent life), but here’s a group pic.

Sunday, we went to church and did our grocery shopping and basically prepped for the week.  In the weekly prep, Sheena made some off-the-chain chicken curry.  Check it out!

Layla wanted Shane to come over and play.  Here’s a video of that call:

On Monday, I had the day off.  After Sheena went to work, the kids and I played at the house a bit.  The weather was too awesome to just stay inside, so we hit the road.  The main event was the picnic at the park.

Here’s a quick video recap:

Overall, a really great weekend!
