Houston to Ft. Lauderdale to Lima, Peru. We woke up at 6 am and got ready to catch our flight. I usually don’t get excited for anything, but for some reason I was really looking forward to this trip. Sheena has been wanting to go to Peru for a while, but when we officially booked everything, it was a bit of a last minute decision. We have a busy few days ahead of us. When we land in Peru, it’ll be night so we basically have a full day of travel. The next day we spend touring Lima, which is the capital city. Then we have another flight to Cusco, where we then tour that city. The day after that we take a train to Machupichu and check out the ruins. Then we do everything in reverse until we come home.
Should be pretty fun! I’ll be posting up pics and more blogs as the adventure continues, but just wanted to compose a quick one to wet your palette. I’m still on the plane while I compose this so you can imagine how anxious I am to get there!
