This weekend we did a ton of stuff! One of which was going to baby Joshy’s dedication.
But that was on Sunday. Lemme start with Friday. Layla spent the night at Grandma’s house, so Sheena, Ezzy and I headed to the Sienna Food Truck Festival.
Ezzy was passed out for a while, which worked out so that we could scope out the trucks.
I ordered the Chicken over Rice from Sticky’s Chicken.
Sheena got a Raunchy Chicken from the Lunchbox
While there we ran into our friends Bobin and Alphie. It’s been forever since we’ve seen ’em so it was great to catch up.
When Ezzy woke up, he ate some food and roamed around a bit. He had a good time!
I made a quick video of the Food Truck Festival. Check it out!
The next morning, we scooped up some breakfast and headed to Pearland to get Layla. A new spot opened up right outside of our neighborhood, so we thought to give it a try.
It’s awesome! Shipley’s is still my top dog, but Dawn Kolaches gives them a run for their money! When we got to Pearland, Layla and her cousins Iris & Erin were playing in the backyard.
After eating breakfast and playing, Mom made a pizza for the kids for lunch. The girls helped.
Later that evening, we had our friends Tim and Jess come over for dinner. Shane came as well. It was nice to just hang out. Sheena has a chalkboard table runner, which was fun for the kids (and adults) while we ate.
Sunday we went to church but we skipped out on our usual HEB run! Later in the afternoon we headed to Houston’s First Baptist to be a part of Joshy’s dedication.
The kids always have a good time when they’re together.
We went to Zoe’s Kitchen afterwards for lunch and then kicked it at Wes and Kasey’s house for bit after that.
The day was soo nice, so we didn’t want to just sit at home. Luckily Justin Joy called us to join them at Oyster Creek park.
Fun times!
Overall a very full and fun weekend!
