This week (on Nov. 17th) my nephew was born!
The day he was born we headed to the hospital to visit. Here’s a shot of all the kids with Sheena and I.
On that same day, but later in the evening my good friends Neil and Rita had their daughter as well!
Look at all that hair! They’re both super cute! I guess it was a good day to have give birth! In addition to these 2 cuties being born, my good friend Tik was celebrating his birthday as well (Happy Birthday Tik!). That was all a Thursday. Friday we really didn’t do much, but Saturday was a busy one! For breakfast our friends Samir, Mindy, Rizah and Carmen came into town from Austin!
The kicked it for a bit. It was great to just hang out with these guys. The kids had a blast too!
Later that afternoon, we had a Gathering of friends… Friendsgiving, if you will.
Every month we do a bible study/prayer meeting style gathering which has been pretty great! Since it is close to Thanksgiving, we had turkey and all the fixings.
On Sunday, we went to church and HEB (the usual). For lunch we headed to Pearland to celebrate Sheena’s brother’s birthday.
After lunch we had chai and a couple rounds of Uno.
Then we headed to Blesson’s house to see Baby Dean!
The kids wanted turns holding him. Here’s Ezzy “holding” his legs. Ezzy was super cute with Dean. He would blow kisses to him and just stare a bit… I guess he realizes that he’s not the youngest anymore!
Layla held him as well. She made the comment that she’s the only girl in the bunch and how she had to take care of all these boys! hahaha..
Apparently he hasn’t smiled yet!
The kids found dinosaur/monster hats, so of course they had to snap a pic!
When we got home we wanted to go for a walk. We threw the kids in the wagon and went for a stroll around the block.
It was a great weekend! Good weather, growing family with new babies, good food, good friends. Nothing to complain about!
