Guys! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here. My last post was on 9/4/2018! I’m going to try and be better about posting here again. I think I fell off because I started filming more than snapping pictures and the whole point of any of this was to preserve memories. So whether its videos on YouTube or a post with pictures on this blog, they all work the same, right? Just curious, what do y’all prefer?
This past weekend was Easter Weekend, and the weather was amazing! Here’s a few of the things we did over the weekend.
I recently sold my old black GMC Sierra. I just wasn’t using it that much. Mainly because since it was a single cab, I didn’t have space to bring the kids along if I needed to. A few months after selling the Sierra, I just missed having a truck. I was scanning Craigslist and found a nice little Toyota Tacoma for a decent price, so I picked it up.
It’s nothing fancy, but I really like it. Easy to drive around and still very functional. The minivan is still my main cruiser (cause I’m cool like that), but maybe I can use this more than my last truck.
Our church had it’s first Saturday service in anticipation for a lot of people at the 3 Sunday Services we currently have. With that, we decided to go to church on Saturday to help out with Sunday’s crowd control. The church gave every member a “Difference Maker” shirt over the weekend. Pretty nice, if you ask me!
On Sunday, Sheena, the kids and I made a small garden bed and then we got ready to go to Shane and Jenny’s house for a small Easter get-together. Here are a few pics (the better ones snapped by the wonderful Sheena Abraham!)
Immediately after Shane’s house, we headed to Sugarland Town Square. Sherry and Justin were visiting from New York so we were all linking up for dinner, but we came a little early to just walk around and enjoy the weather.
Here’s a shot of some of the kiddos!
It was great to see Sherry, Justin and the kids! It was also great to hang out with this crew as well! Although we all live pretty close by to each other, it’s still hard to meet up and just hang out like we used to.
I hope everyone had a great Easter!
